Growth Mindset

The belief that you can grow your talents with effort. Students with a growth mindset see effort as necessary for success, embrace challenges, learn from criticism, and persist in the face of setbacks.

Every Thursday

Thursday is an Early Dismissal Day

Every Thursday, students in grades 1 - 5 are dismissed from school at 2:30.

The playground closes at 3:00 every Thursday.

Please pick up your child before 3:00.

Attendance

Consistent Attendance is Key to Your Child’s Success in School

It’s important to make daily attendance a habit.  When a student misses a day of school, he or she misses out on important instruction that cannot be made up with homework.  Every day’s learning builds on what students learned the day before.  When a child misses a lesson, he or she also misses a critical building block.  That can lead to difficulties for the next several days and even weeks.  So get in the attendance habit.  Know that when you send you child to school you are helping him or her for today, tomorrow and the rest of his or her school career.

State law requires all public schools to create a School Accountability Report Card (SARC). The purpose of the report card is to provide parents and the community with important information about your child's school, which includes:

  • School Description and Mission
  • School Programs and Instructional Materials
  • Opportunities for Parent Involvement
  • Test Results
  • Safety Plan
  • Facilities

We invite you to view the School Accountability Report Card (SARC) for your child's school.  You can find your school's SARC here.
