Edison Learning Garden

Welcome to the Edison Learning Garden! Edison received a grant totaling nearly $4700! The grant funds were spent to create a succulent garden. This garden is used by students to extend their learning. The Learning Garden is used to support Reading, Writing, Math and Science instruction. Name plates for plants in the garden have also been placed as reference for students that are curious about the plant's name, scientific name, and the origin of the plant. Many volunteers from the school and the community helped get this project off the ground and made it reality.

Edison staff and students would like to thank the Teresa Gonzalez of the Wilmore Police Center and Jim Osgood of the Neighborhood Partnership Program for supporting our efforts in making this garden a reality.  The beauty of Edison parents and valuable members of the community truly makes a difference!
